Clean Up Camberley

An application to create a Theatre Street Performance entitled 'Clean Up, Camberley' has been submitted to Surrey Heath Council.

If approved, we are hoping to run a two-day workshop to raise awareness of the need to create and develop a Community Clean Up programme in Camberley.

We will be looking to devise a performance around the topic of 'Cleaning Up'  - this could be a physical clean up; mental, social or physiological clean up.....the children and young people taking part in the workshop will decide what 'Clean up, Camberley' means.

Tutors from the Creative Minds Academy will support and guide the students through the theatrical demands of a street-performance.  The content of the piece will be purely their creativity.

We are hoping to gain support from Surrey Heath and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to undertake this community-led high street and town centre clean up.

If approved the project will take place on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th May 2019 with the possibility of Creative Minds Community running a community Clean Up at a later date.
