Members Information
Welcome to CAMUS productions! Thank you fo showing an interest in joining or re-joining us. Below is some useful information about being a CAMUS member.
Membership
(what we expect from you)

Member’s subscription is a minimum of one year sign up of £13 a month (12 x £13 monthly Standing Order). Fees must be paid within first month of rehearsal period or a £80 one off show fee.
Note: a penalty fee will be charged for late payment.

Full attendance at every rehearsal you are required for (as per published rehearsal schedule)

Advanced absence dates (e.g., holidays) given to the production team, so the rehearsal schedule can be created accordingly

Production team informed personally (email or phone call) of last-minute absences (e.g., due to illness)

Arrival at rehearsals 10 mins before scheduled time, so the rehearsing can begin promptly at 19:30pm (or time scheduled).

Attendance to at least one of the scheduled publicity events.

Attendance to at least one of any other publicity events organised (e.g., fetes or community shows; supermarkets; carol singing etc)

Handing out fliers to your own places of work/ pubs/shops/gyms etc and your local streets

Providing raffle prizes (as requested) and support in collecting raffle prizes from shops/businesses

Bring a pen/pencil and some sort of recording device to rehearsals

Things to consider

An audition fee of £13, for non-members, is payable at your audition. This must be paid before your audition can take place. This becomes your first month’s subscription if successful.

For full musical shows, £25 (plus £25 refundable deposit) is payable towards cost of scores

For smaller shows and concerts, £5 is payable towards the cost of printing sheet music etc.

For smaller shows and concerts, you will be asked for a donation towards the washing/dry cleaning of any costumes we provide

Tea & Coffee will be available at rehearsals, for a donation towards CAMUS fundraising (bring your own mug, please)

For the show, you will be required to supply your own make up sponges/wipes etc

For the show, you may need to provide specific items of costume and props. The production team will inform you in plenty of time. This could include specific clothes, shoes, accessories. As the “CAMUS family”, we all support each other to source any additional items needed.

Ladies will require suitable ‘show underwear’, and may be required to provide specific types of shoes (e.g., character shoes) and tights (e.g., tan/fishnets).
