BA Musical Theatre

'I have always loved musical theatre and attending CMA has really helped develop that passion'
I joined CMA in the very beginning after meeting Polly at the Camberley Youth Theatre and attended various classes from 1:1 Singing with Kathie to both Youth Theatre Companies in Acting and Musical Theatre.
The classes really helped me grow in confidence which has developed into a passion. This led to me wanting to pursue a career in the performing arts industry. I am currently at 6th Form College studying Performing Arts & Music Performance, but I am pleased to say that I have been offered a place at The London College of Music to study Musical Theatre in September and I can't wait!

'CMA's production of 'Into the Woods' was my first Musical Theatre performance at the age of 12. It's amazing how much you can progress in just a few years when you have the right training'
'I joined CMA after being a member of Camberley Youth Theatre and I attended both Youth Theatre Companies in Acting and Musical Theatre. Through my 1:1 Tutorials with Polly, I have gained more self-confidence and have a keen understanding of stage craft. I have had the opportunity to use this in various productions through CMA including the Wintershall 'Life of Christ', first as the Possessed Boy and then a Disciple.
CMA has prepared me to take the next step in my theatrical career and realising that I will be joining the
Foundation Year in Performing Arts at The Brighton Academy is still a little bit unbelievable.
In the words of Little Red Riding Hood from Into the Woods, I'm both 'excited and scared'.

Also for gaining high marks in her LAMDA level 3 Certificate in Performance (Grade 6) Solo Acting Bronze Medal examination, passing with Distinction; and achieving a Merit in her Grade 6 LCM Singing examination.
