We were thrilled to be able to support new writers when they arelooking for an outlet to present a new piece of writing. When talking to them about our approach to community theatre and what we would like to offer, not only were we able to support these new writers, but they were willing to write a whole new piece of theatre - just for us!
Care for a cuppa? - the tea project
Care for a cuppa? Come join us!
The Tea Project, as it is currently known, is a new piece of theatre written with community theatre in mind. It is still in the early development stage, but once the first draft is together we will be able to get a company of cast, technicians and audience together for a read through and to workshop some of the ideas.
The joy with community projects like this is that we don't know what the final piece will become until we have time to workshop the text with local people who may be able to add interesting anecdones to the story.
The Tea Project is in early stages of development, but so far we have been able to take inspiration from local people, local venues and local performers.

The perfect place for a celebration.
Story (un)Ltd is the brainchild of Jen Toksvig, and the intention to bring Cinderella to life in a way that is bigger and grander than ever before is still on the drawing board.
We just need to make these plans come to life.
Join us, in a town near you, and celebrate the Royal Ball, shop with Cinderella's mean step-sisters or lose yourself in a book with Cinderella herself as she steps out into the local parks for storytime with the children.
