Academy Classes and Weekly Workshops

Through specialist short-courses, technical workshops, advanced skills and Community Outreach, we aim to promote our commitment and dedication to the education, preparation, participation and learning of our community through theatre practice and performance.

We offer Academy classes for students age 18 months + to adult, Youth Theatre workshops for students aged 8+ and Adult fitness and dance sessions throughout the week.

We run dance-fit and wellbeing sessions for over 55's to support social interaction, creative arts and 'movement for mobility'.

Academy Classes

Let's start at the very beginning...

Our classes cover all disciplines through dance, drama, musical theatre and singing covering a range of improvisation, role-play and drama games, music and movement and guided singing sessions starting with our Tots and Tinies (18 months+) and 

Minis (age 4+) to adult.

...a very good place to start!


Weekly Workshops

For Juniors (age 8+), Inters (age 11+) and Seniors (age 13+).

Students looking for a skills based weekly workshop with an opportunity to achieve a recognised qualification through the Trinity Arts Award, these classes are open to anyone.

All we ask is you commit to attending regular classes.

Specialist Classes and 1:1 Tutorials


Sensory-Aware Interactive Sessions

Suitable for students with additional learning needs, sensory perception disorders and those with mental/physical impairments.


Creative Learning for the Individual

Working with a member of the CMA staff, you will be guided and supported in your learning with opportunity to take examinations in Dance, Drama, Musical Theatre and Singing
