The Saturday Academy classes run each week during term time for students aged 4 - 14 years.
Performance classes in dance, drama, musical theatre and singing last for one hour for Junior and Inters Students and 45 minutes for Minis.
We follow the 'Dancing with a Difference' syllabus for our younger students including the Tots and Tinies Mother and Baby classes.
Students have a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year and a whole school showcase at the end of the academic year.
Our staff members are all highly experienced and qualified practitioners who inspire and motive our students. Each member of the team has an enhanced DBS, Safeguarding, First Aid and Covid-Awareness Training. We are committed to the protection and safeguarding of our students.
Academy students are required to wear a CMA uniform T-shirt and/or Hoodie and suitable dance attire with correct footwear for all dance or movement based classes.
Uniform can be purchased through our shop.
Dance
DANCING WITH A DIFFERENCE
Early years movement based class suitable for all ages - learning through play to develop exploration and expression through movement, dance, rhythm and mime understanding shapes, colours, co-ordination and more.
These classes also incorporate BALLET BABESintroduction to the form and style of classical ballet to develop fluidity, grace and poise and TAP including rhythm and movement helping to develop expression and gross motor skills.
Drama and Musical Theatre
DRAMA MASTERS
An introduction to the basic techniques of acting and performance.
Students work towards a public performance opportunity each term and final end of year informal showcase at Camberley Theatre.
MT MASTERS
An introduction to the basic performance techniques in musical theatre including jazz dance and musical theatre styles, acting through song and ensemble work.
Students work towards a public performance opportunity each term and final end of year informal showcase at Camberley Theatre.
Performance
CREATIVE CHAOS
Working with props and costume, you never know what might happen in a Creative Chaos class. Explore expressive storytelling, improvisation and team work.
Students work towards the Trinity College Young Performers Certificate to encourage participation and to provide a sense of progression through levels Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Singing
SINGING SENSATIONS
An introduction to music making, rhythm, sound and singing together as a group.
Students work towards the Trinity College Young Performers Certificate to encourage participation and to provide a sense of progression through levels Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Minis Classes
For students aged 4 - 8 years
(Years R - Year 2)
These sessions are open to anyone and run for 10 weeks during term time.
45 minute, weekly performance and technique classes allow our mini students to take part in creative learning and play.
Using a combination of singing, dance and storytelling to explore and create, our minis sessions promote positive participation and achievement through the development of skills in communication, self confidence and expression.
Students are encouraged to take part in our annual prize giving and Christmas celebration at the end of the Autumn Term, a group examination with Trinity College, London at the end of the Spring Term and an end of year showcase production staged at Camberley Theatre at the end of the Summer Term.

Fees
£75 per term
Multiple Minis x 3 = £195.00 per term
Multiple Minis x 5 = £330.00 per term
If you join part way through the term you pay for the remaining sessions.
Fees are to be paid on receipt of an invoice by the first day of each term.
Overdue accounts are subject to interest being applied.
