ABOUT
Situated amongst the secluded gardens and grounds of Wells House, Blencathra Lodge is the perfect holiday get-away.
Approached via electric gates, the private drive meanders its way through the grounds to the parking area at the rear of the main house.
The gardens surrounding the lodge are extremely well maintained with a natural pond central to the main garden and a delightful bridge adding to the character.
Overlooking sheep paddocks, there is an established area of mature woodland with the Roe Beck running through, perfect for an evening walk.

A small village northwest of Penrith with nearby attractions including the Upfront Gallery and Puppet Theatre and Grade 1 listed country house Hutton-in-the-Forest.

The regional capital is within easy reach and offers an excellent range of social, leisure and retail opportunities as well as the impressive Cathedral and Castle.
Penrith
Once the capital of Cumbria, Penrith is an attractive and busy market town with plenty of shops, a walk up Beacon Hill, Castle remains with crazy golf in the grounds.

Lowther Castle and Gardens or Brougham Castle, Shap Abbey or Penrith Castle.

Hadrian's Wall is a short drive away into Northumberland, where a visit to Holy Island and Lindisfarme are a must.
